După toate cele întâmplate, boierul i-a aruncat
punguţa. Cocoşul a luat-o în plisc şi a plecat, însoţit de
toate păsările din curtea boierului. Când a ajuns acasă, i-a
spus moşneagului să aştearnă un ţol în ogradă.
Apoi, a scuturat din aripi şi a umplut ograda de vite şi ţolul
de galbeni. Moşul era fericit şi nu-i venea să creadă ceea
ce i se întâmpla.
Then the lord could
stand it no longer. He threw the little bag with the two coins to the rooster
and let it free.
The rooster then
found its way home to its master, the old man, and when it got there, it spit
out of its belly all the animals and gold coins it had swallowed from the mean
lord. The old man could hardly believe what was happening.
